The MAC's Eastbound Theatre presents William Shakespeare's The Tempest, directed by Nancy A. Herman, as part of the company's tradition of free summer Shakespeare in the Park. The play combines elements of magic, revenge, romantic love, and redemption, focusing on Prospero, the exiled Duke of Milan, who uses magical powers to shipwreck the king of Naples and his treacherous brother on a remote island. The ensemble cast includes Jack Delorenzo, Bridget Fidler, Molly McCullough, Emma Raymond, Ashley Rockwood, Richard Warren, Ethan J. Sachs, Emily Yates, Leslie Jones, Tristan Lariccia, Nancy Hammett, Alicia James, Katelyn Winter, Julia Allen, and S.H. Lobodinsky. Rain dates are August 8 and 9, 2026.
