The Performing Arts Department Theatre program at Eastern Connecticut State University is proud to present Convergence! Presented at the crossroads of past and future stand the artists, testifying here and now to the influences that have moved them. This third bi-annual concert of the Dance & World Performance Concentration features new work by choreographers, each of whom has been asked to sift through the influences that have shaped their work.Convergence features choreography by Alycia Bright Holland, Guest Artist Charles Anderson and new work by four alumni choreographers: Alexis Tribble-Bryant, Shatima Cruz, Charliece Salters and Sinque Tavares. Our six voices will be joined in conversation with one another as well as with the pioneers and innovators of Modern Dance.Convergence will be present in the Fine Arts Instructional Centers Proscenium Theater from October 24 to October 27, 2019; Thursday, October 24, Friday October 25 and Saturday October 26 at 7:30 P.M. and Sunday, October 27 at 4:00 P.M.
