A Goodnight Kiss is a Civil War-era drama written by award-winning playwright Cinzi Lavin and directed by veteran TV/film actress Kathy Kelly. Based on more than 90 love letters discovered in a Connecticut attic, the play tells the story of Fred Lucas and Sarah Jane "Jennie" Wadhams, whose real-life correspondence is preserved in the CT Museum of History and Culture. Original cast members David Macharelli and Olivia Wadsworth return to portray the historic couple. The engagement serves as a cornerstone of local celebrations for the 250th anniversary of America's independence.
