The Westport Players has announced their two big December productions: A Song At Twilight and The Greatest Gift.

A Song At Twilight:

This bittersweet comedy tells the story of a cosmopolitan author in his declining years, caught between two women: his wife of convenience of 20 years and one of his former loves. When his former flame produces a set of old love letters she's about to turn over to a biographer, he is dead set against it - for it would compromise his impeccable reputation. Then she produces still another set of love letters, even more damaging. Will this former flame succeed in blackmailing the aging author? Join us November 15th to find out!

Performance information: November 15th at 7pm.

Ticket information: All tickets: $15

The Greatest Gift:

Book and Lyrics by David Wiltse
Music by Denis King
Directed by Mark Shanahan

Take a break from the classics this December with a staged reading of a charming new play with music, the story of the Smith-Baron family who celebrates the holiday in their own way. When eight-year-old Emma bumps her head in a fall, sending her into a fantastical dream world, she and her parents discover that what really matters has to nothing to do with gifts and ritual and all to do with who you love. A warm and touching tale the whole family can enjoy.

Performance information: Monday, December 13 at 7pm
Ticket information: All tickets: $15
