TheatreWorks New Milford Holds Open Casting Call for YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN

TheatreWorks New Milford is seeking a cast of 7 males and 3 females PLUS ENSEMBLE for Mel Brooks' musical adaptation of "YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN." Auditions will be held on Sunday January 14th from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm and Monday January 15th from 7:00 pm to 9:30 pm at TheatreWorks, 5 Brookside Avenue (20 Elm St Extension for GPS), New Milford, CT.
The director is Jocelyn Beard of Wingdale, NY.
Grandson of the infamous Victor Frankenstein, Frederick Frankenstein (pronounced "Fronk-en-steen") inherits his family's estate in Transylvania. With the help of a hunchbacked sidekick, Igor (pronounced "Eye-gore"), and a leggy lab assistant, Inga (pronounced normally), Frederick finds himself in the mad scientist shoes of his ancestors. "It's alive!" he exclaims as he brings to life a creature to rival his grandfather's. Eventually, of course, the monster escapes and hilarity continuously abounds. All roles are available and both professionals and amateurs are welcome. Rehearsals begin in March with performances running weekends May 4 through June 7
