The Hartt School Announces its 2009-2010 Theatre Division Performance Season

Twelfth Night, one of William Shakespeare's great comedies, runs Thursday, October 15, Friday, October 16 and Saturday, October 17 at 7:30 PM, and Sunday, October 18, at 3:00 PM. Performances are in the Edward C. and Ann T. Roberts Foundation Theater at the Mort and Irma Handel Performing Arts Center, 35 Westbourne Parkway, Hartford.

The plays Twelve Angry Women and Waiting for Godot will be presented in repertory on Thursday, October through Sunday, November 1. Performances of Twelve Angry Women take place on Friday, October 30, and Sunday, November 1, at 7:30 PM, and Saturday, October 31, at 2 PM. Performances of Waiting for Godot take place on Thursday, October 29, and Saturday, October 31, at 7:30 PM, and Sunday, November 1, at 2 PM. All performances are in the Kent McCray Theater at the Mort and Irma Handel Performing Arts Center, 35 Westbourne Parkway, Hartford.

Gilbert and Sullivan's The Mikado runs Thursday, November 5, Friday, November 6, and Saturday, November 7, at 7:30 PM, and Sunday, November 8, at 3:00 PM. Performances are in Lincoln Theater, University of Hartford, 200 Bloomfield Avenue, West Hartford.

The new musical Band Geeks will be performed on Thursday, December 10, Friday, December 11, and Saturday, December 12, at 7:30 PM, and Sunday, December 13, at 2:00 PM. Performances are in the Edward C. and Ann T. Roberts Foundation Theater at the Mort and Irma Handel Performing Arts Center, 35 Westbourne Parkway, Hartford.

Hartt's annual Collage Concert, which is free and open to the public, features two acts filled with continuous music, dance, and theatre. Hartt's gift to the community, Collage takes place on Friday, February 12, and Saturday 13, at 7:30 PM, in Lincoln Theater, University of Hartford, 200 Bloomfield Avenue, West Hartford.

Hartt students will perform the award winning musical How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying on Thursday, March 4, Friday, March 5, and Saturday, March 6, at 7:30 PM, Sunday, March 7, at 3:00 PM, Thursday, March 11, and Friday, March 12, at 7:30 PM in Millard Auditorium, 200 Bloomfield Avenue, West Hartford.

Into the Woods and another musical to be announced will be presented in repertory will be performed on Thursday, April 22 through Sunday, April 25. Performances are in the Kent McCray Theater at the Mort and Irma Handel Performing Arts Center, 35 Westbourne Parkway, Hartford.
