THE MAGICAL WORLD OF TOMIE DEPAOLA to Bring Children's Author to Bethlehem

On June 24th and 25th at 2:30 pm at The Gary The Olivia Theater 249 Flanders Rd in Bethlehem, CT Clay & Wattles Theater Company will present "The Magical World of Tomie dePaola," an afternoon with the celebrated children's book author and illustrator and recipient of the prestigious Laura Ingalls Wilder Award, Caldecott Honor, and the Newbery Honor.

Tomie dePaola will narrate several of his stories and will be joined on stage by former film and stage actress Mother Dolores Hart, OSB, actors and special guests to act out the drama rich tales.

Purchase of Tomie's books organized by Barnes & Noble of Waterbury and book signings will be available after the performance on both days. Don't miss the creator of Strega Nona, Big Anthony and many other colorful characters that touch the hearts of children and adults alike!
