Playhouse on Park Welcomes The Frog Prince Presented by the Lollipop Opera

Continuing its Young Audiences Series, Playhouse on Park has announced a special performance of "The Frog Prince" presented by the Lollipop Opera.
Sunday, February 12th, 2012 The Lollipop Opera presents its adaptation of this children's classic set to the music of Donizetti, Offenbach, Sullivan, and Herbert. Described as a "sparkling and sprightly take on the Grimm fairy tale original, "The Frog Prince" is an original libretto that will have theatregoers of all ages in stitches and humming its tunes even after the curtain falls."
The Lollipop Opera is a New England based touring company whose children's presentations have gained popularity by being not only engaging and educational, but interactive and fun.
The Frog Prince is approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes long and is recommended for children aged pre-school to 6th grade.
The show takes place Sunday, February 12th, 2012 at 2pm at West Hartford's award winning professional theatre, Playhouse on Park, 244 Park Road. Tickets range in price from $13 - $15 (Students, Seniors, Let's Go Arts members save $2.00 per ticket) and can be purchased in person or over the phone at the box office, Tuesday to Friday (10am - 6pm); Saturday (10am - 2pm) and 2 hours before curtain; or online at www.PlayhouseOnPark.org.
