Award-Winning Cabaret | Doors Open at 7 pm

About the group: "Pink Floyd is one of rock music’s greatest icons, but, as with all things transporting, it’s the experience that counts. And Pink Floyd Experience, aka PFX, gives us just that... a flawless recreation of the legendary songs and spectacular performances of Pink Floyd, plus much more. It’s a celebration of the music, the themes and the innovation that this great band brought to fans around the world. It is Pink Floyd, up close and personal."

The show is described as: "The lights, the high-def, the ca-ching of cash registers when “Money” is performed – all of that and more will hook Jorgensen’s Cabaret audiences on two nights – Friday and Saturday, February 17 and 18 at 8 p.m. Six live musicians, singing greatest hits such as “Wish You Were Here,” “Time” and “Another Brick in the Wall,” plus $2.5 million in special effects combine to make PFX all it can be. Full quadraphonic sound, 200,000 watts of light, and surreal video Pink Floyd fans have come to expect, add the X to PF."

"As the followup to Dark Side of the Moon, the salute to the entire Wish You Were Here album explores the idea of absence, takes a cynical view of the music business and waxes poetically on the personal state of former band front man and songwriter Syd Barrett. The album was produced by Alan Parsons and included musical guests Roy Harper and Stephane Grappelli. It’s all there – the blinking eye, the marching hammers and the helicopter that musses your hair. And then the most lasting image – the 12-foot-long overhead pig blimp – will take you to a time when rock first toyed with concert extravagance, and leave you ga-ga."
