NPR's Paula Poundstone Set for Warner Theatre, 8/25
On Saturday August 25, Paula Poundstone, one of the foremost comics working today will perform at the Warner Theatre. Her ability to create humor on the spot is legendary; she is masterful at improvising with the crowd through her casual air, impeccable timing and razor-sharp wit.
Poundstone is a popular panelist on NPR’s Wait Wait … Don’t Tell Me, has published her first book There’s Nothing In This Book That I Meant To Say and released her first comedy CD: “I HEART JOKES: Paula Tells Them In Maine In 2009.” An Emmy winner, she is also the first woman to receive the Cable ACE for Best Standup Comedy Special.
Tickets for Paula Poundstone are $30, $50 Gold Circle and can be purchased by calling the Warner box office at 860-489-7180 or online at www.warnertheatre.org.
