MOTOR CITY FEVER: A MUSICAL TRIBUTE to Bring Motown Hits to Cheney Hall
The national tour features a powerhouse cast, live band, and hits from The Supremes, Marvin Gaye, and The Temptations.
MOTOR CITY FEVER will come to Cheney Hall on Friday, August 28 at 7 p.m. The touring production will celebrate the music and artists of the Motown era through live performances, choreography, and a full band accompaniment.
The production features a cast of performers who have appeared alongside Motown artists and presents a setlist drawn from some of the label's most recognizable hits. Audiences can expect performances inspired by artists including The Supremes, Marvin Gaye, Smokey Robinson, and The Temptations.
MOTOR CITY FEVER combines period-inspired costumes, choreography, and live musicianship to recreate the sound and style associated with Motown's rise in American popular music. The production is presented as a musical celebration of the artists and songs that defined the label's legacy.
