Hartt Presents THE TAMING OF THE SHREW, Now thru 5/6

The Hartt School Theatre Division presents The Taming of the Shrew tonight, May 3, Friday, May 4, and Saturday, May 5, at 7:30 PM, and Sunday, May, 6 at 3:00 PM.

One of Shakespeare's best-loved comedies, The Taming of the Shrew is the ultimate battle of the sexes. Kate and Petruchio are the classic dysfunctional couple who somehow find love in a world full of madcap clowns, lunatic lovers, mistaken identities, and some of Shakespeare's funniest one-liners. It’s a zany frolic full of lunatic lovers and merry mayhem. It’s a classic sitcom from the ‘90s - the 1590s.

The Hartt School's production is directed by Robert Davis and brings together students from the Actor Training and Music Theatre programs, with a special appearance by University of Hartford President Walter Harrison as Christopher Sly.
