Casting has been announced for the upcoming production of THE ADVENTURES OF Tom Sawyer, opening at the Hartford Stages on April 1st and playing through May 9th. The cast will include Chris Bowyer (Sid Sawyer), Teddy Canez (Injun Joe), Louisa Krause (Becky Thatcher), Nancy Lemenager (Aunt Polly), Eric Lochtefeld (Muff Potter), Tim McKiernan (Tom Sawyer), Joe Paulik (Joe Harper), and Casey Predovic (Huckleberry Finn).

One of the best loved books of all time adapted for the stage, Tom Sawyer chronicles the adventures of Twain's mischievous young hero in a small town on the Mississippi River. Twain's brilliant sense of humor and keen insights into human nature make him one of America's most beloved writers. Tom Sawyer will be part of a national celebration commemorating the centennial of Twain's death and the 175th anniversary of his birth, including participation in the National Endowment for the Arts' "Big Read" initiative.
