Emmy Award winning Hollywood Director Rob Schiller, also known for his philanthropic endeavors, is now lending his award-winning directing talents to the Warner, a historic theater in Connecticut that offers state of the art digital cinema, dance, plays and musicals.

The director of several popular sitcoms including 'Happily Divorced' with Fran Drescher, and 'The King of Queens,' Rob is now teaming up with Warner Theatre's Executive Director John Bonanni to direct the hit Broadway comedy, Curtains, a renowned musical where a lone detective, Lieutenant Frank Cioffi, investigates a string of murders that occurs behind the scenes of a cowboy musical, Robbin' Hood.

"I'm proud to work with John and it is exciting to be directing this great musical comedy at this special theatre," said Rob Schiller, president of R&B JAAMZS Inc. Schiller got his start at the age of 11, when he wrote, directed, produced, and starred in his first stage play about Harry Houdini. Driven by his passion for theatre, by age 19 he became the proprietor of the Peter Piper Players children's theatre, turned it equity and became actively involved in productions.

Although busy with directing the new series 'Wendell and Vinnie,' starring Kevin Daniels, Samuel Gilbert and Ryan Christopher Lee and the upcoming season of 'Melissa and Joey,' Schiller is a firm believer in supporting community theatre. He makes time to fly between coasts to direct Curtains and ensure that the production is another Warner Theatre success.

In addition, Schiller has successfully raised money and awareness for a variety of worthwhile causes including Harvest Home, and the "All-In For All Good" Celebrity Poker Tournament. He is the co-founder of Devon Stern/UCP Golf Tournament, a successful annual fundraising event that has currently raised over $300,000 for children with cerebral palsy.

Performances for Curtains are tonight, Jan 26 & Feb 2 at 8pm, Sun. Jan 27 & Feb 3 at 2pm and Fri, February 1 at 8pm in the Warner's Nancy Marine Studio Theatre. Tickets can be purchased by calling the Warner box office at 860-489-7180 or online at www.warnertheatre.org.

Rob Schiller, Emmy-award winning American film and television director is also president of R&B JAAMZS, Inc. Schiller has directed and produced over 250 episodes of sitcoms, including the CBS hit comedy, 'The King of Queens,' 'Two and a Half Men,' and 'Til Death.' His latest motion picture, 'And They're Off,' stars Sean Astin and Kevin Nealon. In addition to directing the upcoming season of 'Melissa and Joey and the new Nick at Nite series 'Wendell and Vinnie,' Schiller directed Charlie Sheen's show 'Anger Management.'
