Oro Sólido is a merengue band from the Dominican Republic formed in 1994 by Raúl Acosta, nicknamed El Presidente, who comes from a family of musicians. The group has established itself as one of the most important Latin music groups in the world and has won numerous awards including Estrella Awards, ACE Awards, and Lo Nuestro Awards. They have shared the stage with artists such as Celia Cruz, Marc Anthony, Tito Puente, and The Temptations. Oro Sólido performs as part of the free, family-friendly Festival Latino 2026 presented by Honda.
