Baldwin Wallace will be one of the first universities in the country to be granted the rights to produce the Tony Award-winning musical "Dear Evan Hansen," which will run Nov.12-22 at BW's Kleist Center for Art & Drama.
"Dear Evan Hansen" (book by Steven Levenson and music/lyrics by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul) won the Tony Award for Best Musical in 2017. It brought light to the challenges faced by high school students who often feel isolated and disconnected from their families and communities.
Tickets will go on sale October 1 at bw.edu/tickets for performances beginning at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Friday and Saturday and at 2 p.m. for Sunday matinees.
"Dear Evan Hansen" is presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI). All authorized performance materials are also supplied by MTI, 423 West 55th Street, New York, NY 10019, (#p) 212-541-4684, (#f) 212-397-4684, www.MTIShows.com.
