BEETHOVEN Triple Concerto
BEETHOVEN Piano Concerto No. 3
Igor Levit, a pianist “like no other” (The New Yorker), inaugurates a highly anticipated cycle of Beethoven’s piano concertos with Franz Welser-Möst and The Cleveland Orchestra. In this first of three installments, the pianist shares the stage with violinist Augustin Hadelich and cellist Julia Hagen in the majestic Triple Concerto before turning to the stormy and rapturous Piano Concerto No. 3, the only one set in a minor key.
