By:

BLUE MAN GROUP
Blue Man Group takes the stage at E.J. Thomas Hall for two performances. Show times are at 7:30pm on June 12th and 13th.

Blue Man Group is best known for their wildly popular theatrical shows and concerts, which combine comedy, music and technology to produce a totally unique form of entertainment. Although it is impossible to describe, people of all ages agree that Blue Man Group is an intensely exciting and wildly outrageous show that leaves the entire audience in a blissful, euphoric state.

Tickets range from $40 to $72.50. Purchase tickets online at www.ejthomashall.com, by calling the box office at 330.972.7570 or by visiting a Ticketmaster outlet. E.J. Thomas Hall is located at 198 Hill Street, on the campus of The University of Akron.

Brian Stokes Mitchell

Enjoy an evening of wonderful songs performed by Tony Award-winning Brian Stokes Mitchell and the North Coast Men's Chorus. Mitchell is dubbed as "The Last Leading Man" by the New York Times. Add in the North Coast Men's Chorus and experience an evening of song and entertainment you will never forget.

Tickets range from $10 to $55. There will be a $5 price increase for tickets purchased the day of the concert. Purchase tickets online at www.playhousesquare.org or by calling the box office at 216.241.6000. The Palace Theatre is located at 1615 Euclid Avenue, in the heart of Cleveland's theatre district.

CATS
Mercury Summer Stock opens their season with CATS, running June 15th to 30th. All performances are at 7:30pm, except for Sunday performances, which are at 2pm.

There's no better way to introduce your family to the wonders of live theatre than with the magic, the mystery, the memory of CATS. What began as a musical about cats after Andrew Lloyd Webber picked up a book of poems in an airport bookshop has become one of the longest running shows in Broadway's history. Winner of seven Tony Awards, CATS features twenty of Webber's timeless melodies, including the hit song "Memory."

Tickets are $18 for adults and $15 for students and seniors. Purchase tickets online at mercurysummerstock.ticketleap.com/cats/ or by calling the box office at 216.771.5862. The Regina High School building is located on the campus of Notre Dame College in South Euclid.

DAMN YANKEES
Porthouse Theatre presents DAMN YANKEES from June 14th to 30th in their outdoor pavilion theatre at Blossom Music Center. Tuesday to Saturday performances are at 8pm, with Sunday performances at 2pm. Picnic grounds open 90 minutes prior to each show.

Based on the novel THE YEAR THE YANKEES LOST THE PENNANT by Douglass Wallop, this devilishly-clever Broadway musical about a Washington Senators fan who makes a pact with the Devil to help his baseball team win the league pennant is a home-run hit. Light and fast-paced, DAMN YANKEES is a home-run hit whose all-American subject matter and irreverent sense of humor have brought many a sports fan into the theatre.

Purchase tickets online at www.tix.com/Schedule.asp?OrganizationNumber=486 or by calling the box office at 330.672.3884. The Porthouse Theatre is located in Cuyahoga Falls, at Blossom Music Center.

Kristin Chenoweth
Kristin Chenoweth will be starring in a one-night-only concert at PlayhouseSquare's Palace Theatre on Wednesday, June 13th at 7:30pm.

The Tony and Emmy Award-winning singer/actress has enjoyed an extraordinarily diverse career. Chenoweth is expected to perform songs from her latest album, "Some Lessons Learned," as well as a catalog of her most memorable songs from theatre and television, including WICKED and GLEE.

Tickets range from $35 to $125. Purchase tickets online at www.playhousesquare.org or by calling the box office at 216.241.6000. The Palace Theatre is located at 1615 Euclid Avenue, in the heart of Cleveland's theatre district.

ROUTE 66
Actors' Summit closes its season with ROUTE 66, running June 21st to July 29th. Evening performances are at 8pm on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Matinee performances are at 2pm on Saturdays and Sundays.

ROUTE 66 is a fun, high energy 1950s road trip from Chicago to Los Angeles. The songs, most of which are about cars, move the audience from one town to the next, as we used to travel in the days before the interstate. Beach Boys hits, from "Little GTO" and "Little Old Lady from Pasadena," together with lots of great car songs create an evening of laughter and road trip music.

Tickets range from $19 to $30 for adults and are $9 for students. Purchase tickets online at www.actorssummit.org/tickets.htm or by calling the box office at 330.374.7568. The theatre is located on the sixth floor of Greystone Hall, located in downtown Akron across from the John S. Knight Center.
