Just in time for the 40th anniversary of this historic event, Shadowbox pays tribute to the legendary concert with its new, original musical: Woodstock: Back to the Garden, opening Sunday, June 28 and running Sundays only through August 9 at the Easton Town Center.

With an original book written by Shadowbox head writer Jimmy Mak, Woodstock takes place in 1969, where New York Times reporter Rodney Benton attends the "Aquarian Exposition" to understand the meaning behind the masses, madness,
and, of course, the music.

Original scenes mixed with video footage of the era and songs from the actual festival make up this documentary-style musical, directed by Steve Guyer.
