Shadowbox Offers Summer Discounts To Educators During Teacher Appreciation Month

School's out for the summer and Shadowbox is treating area educators with Teacher Appreciation Month.

This June, teachers can get $10 tickets to any Thursday production of The Best of Shadowbox. "We want to extend an invitation to every teacher to celebrate the end of the school year with a night out at Shadowbox," said Julie Klein, Marketing Director for Shadowbox. "Beyond saluting their efforts with this promotion we hope to tap into a new audience that can spread the word about Shadowbox."

To that end, Shadowbox has always embraced grass roots marketing tactics from the most successful program (the "first-timer program") developed by Klein to street marketing to appreciation programs. "Last summer's teacher appreciation was a huge success for us. It brought us a lot of new patrons who have become important members of our fan base," continued Klein. "Some have even become members of our Volunteer Corp!"
