Playhouse South Announces Auditions To Fame - The Musical 8/31

Playhouse South, A Community Theatre is excited to announce, Auditions for Fame - The Musical.
The auditions for Fame will be August 29 & 30 - Cold readings & singing 7:00- 10:00PM . Please prepare a 1 min (16 bars) vocal selection that shows your range. Cold readings will be from the script. August 31 - Dance 7:00 - 10:00PM. Please dress so that you can dance without restrictions. The call backs will be held September 5th 7:00-10:00PM. Both auditions and call backs will be held at Playhouse South located at the Clark Haines Theater ~ 3700 Far Hills Avenue Kettering, OH 45429
The first read through will be September 12th at 7:00 PM at Playhouse South. Please bring all conflicts you will have between September 12th and November 13th 2011 to Auditions. If you are asked to attend call-backs on September 5th you will need to have a short monologue prepared to perform, you may be asked to re-sing your audition song and you will be asked to dance. With candor, humor and insight, the show explores the issues that confront many young people today: issues of prejudice, identity, self-worth, literacy, sexuality, substance abuse and perseverance.
