It is once again time for the Dayton Playhouse FutureFest weekend. Now in its 18th year, this festival of previously unproduced works brings together a complete package for the serious theatre lover. Six new plays, direct contact with six budding playwrights, insightful adjudication from five nationally-recognized professionals, dozens of beautifully artistic performances and the opportunity to network with other theatre lovers for an entire weekend. Over the years this has proven to be an intoxicating blend for the theatre enthusiast.

FutureFest will be presented at the Dayton Playhouse 1301 E. Siebenthaler Drive in Dayton. The event weekend is July 24-26, and a limited number of weekend passes go on sale Tuesday, May 19. Passes are $85.00 and include entrance to all six performances. To purchase weekend passes, or inquire about individual tickets call the Dayton Playhouse at (937) 424-8477.

The six plays being showcased in this year's festival include:

Snake That Eats Itself by Chad Baker
Carve by Molly Smith Metzler
Darkroom by Devon Boan
G-Man by RoseMary Frisino Toohey
Night and Fog by M J Feely
Quietus by Richard Manley
Dozens of actors of all types and ages are needed for the six productions.

Auditions Dates and Times
Sunday, May 31: 2 - 5 pm (all plays)
Monday, June 1: 7 - 10 (fully staged)
Tuesday, June 2: 7 - 10 (staged readings)
Wednesday, June 3: Callbacks, if necessary
