Dayton Playhouse Announces Auditions For Cabaret 7/6, 7/7

The Dayton Playhouse is happy to announce auditions for CABARET, directed by Chris Harmon, on July 6th and 7th at 7pm in the Dayton Playhouse Lobby. Those auditioning are asked to prepare one minute (16 bars) of a Broadway style song. An accompanist and CD player will be provided. Please be ready and dressed to learn a dance combination. Those auditioning only need to appear on one of the audition nights and are asked to bring a list of conflicts from July 13th - September 13th. Callbacks will be Wednesday, July 8th at 7pm and will consist of singing from the show, cold readings and dance. Performances will be August 28th - September 13th at 8pm on Friday and Saturdays and at 2pm on Sundays. You can email the director with questions at chrisharmonpaints@yahoo.com.

Available Roles:
Emcee (M or F, 18 and up) - the host of the Kit Kat Klub
Sally Bowles (F, 18-30) - a British cabaret singer At the Kit Kat Klub
Clifford Bradshaw (M, 20-40) - an American novelist
Fraulein Schneider (F, 45 and up) - a landlady who rents rooms in her large flat
Herr Schultz (M, 45 and up) - one of Frl. Schneider's roomers and the proprietor of a fruit shop
Fraulein Kost (F, 25-40) - another of Frl. Schneider's roomers. She earns a living by offering favors to sailors.
Ernst Ludwig (M, 30-50) - A friendly and likable German, minimal singing.
