Dave Mason is 'Alone Together Again' at Playhouse Square

Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Dave Mason of Traffic revisits his classic 1970 masterpiece Alone Together on his new 'Alone Together Again' US tour. As one of America's most beloved classic rock albums, Alone Together - Mason's debut solo album - is represented on eight timeless tracks that are as satisfying and inspiring now as they were when they were released 46 years ago.

Mason returns to Playhouse Square Sun., April 23 for one 7:30 pm concert at the Ohio Theatre. Tickets are priced at $65, $45 & $25. Joining Dave are band members Johnne Sambataro, Alvino Bennett and Tony Patler. The 'Alone Together Again' show will include fan favorites like "All Along the Watchtower" and "Feelin' Alright," in addition to the album's classic songs

Best known for his soulful voice and unsurpassed guitar playing, Dave Mason was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a founding member of the group Traffic. He has been touring and recording regularly since he co-founded Traffic in 1966, after which he went on to a successful and acclaimed solo career and continues performing as a solo artist with sold-out shows all over the world.

Mason's career spans several important rock eras, and encompasses his work as a producer, iconic performer, songwriter, and consummate guitarist. A quintessential rock star, Mason has collaborated with numerous members of music's elite, including Jimi Hendrix The Rolling Stones, George Harrison, Paul McCartney, Joe Walsh, Graham Nash, Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson, Eric Clapton, Fleetwood Mac and many more.

Renowned for his Traffic hits as "Feelin' Alright" (covered by Joe Cocker) and "Hole In My Shoe," plus solo signature tracks "We Just Disagree" and "Only You Know and I Know," in 2014, Mason released the EP titled FUTURES PAST. It featured new versions of his classic songs plus new material that he has written and performed on tour over the last few years.
