Beck Center is also pleased to present Esperanza’s Youth Artists, an exhibition that grew out of a series of summer workshops led by artists from American Greetings. For six weeks, a different artist guided a group of 20 youth-program participants from Esperanza, Inc., a Cleveland area non-profit that promotes Hispanic educational achievement. The young artists explored a variety of artistic techniques, including mask making, collage, and block printing. This exhibit will be on display in the Skylight Gallery at Beck Center and run concurrently with Hispanic Heritage, Hispanic Art in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month.
