San Diego-based Co-writer Wanted for Musical Script - J Whisper Productions

Whisper Productions seeking a person with playwright experience to collaborate on co-writing a San Diego original musical, “Angels On Broadway”, by Jenifer Whisper.



The show is inspired by the life of Jenifer and her mystical gift for receiving new songs from legendary songwriters and Hollywood stars from The Other Side.



Plot Synopsis: Coming out of a failed marriage, a 32-year-old woman seeks to reinvent herself by going beyond the accepted beliefs and stereotypes of her day. With her seven children now grown, she is guided on her path to self-realization and financial independence. She discovers her unique ability to hear complete songs from a most unusual source.



The objective is to present Jenifer’s story with the best that theatre has to offer. From her library of 88 plus songs we have chosen 25 to tell her story. Material from her musical scripts from the past 50 years and autobiography, “The Celestial Telephone”, are readily available as resources.
