Marketing Manager - Dallas Theater Center

LISTING INFORMATION

Dallas Theater Center seeks an energetic, experienced, and dedicated individual to assist its Marketing and Communications department, lead the social media communications program, and contribute to photography and video. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years experience managing social media and marketing for nonprofit or entertainment organizations. Candidate must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, superior organizational skills and have social media management experience. The ability to manage a variety of projects and activities on a daily basis in a fast-paced, fluid environment is essential.



ESSENTIAL DUTIES

The Marketing Manager will generate all social media content for the organization, in addition to creating and implementing professional photos and video to be used for marketing. Working closely with artistic, education, development, marketing, and other internal departments, the Marketing Manager is responsible for the conceptualization and execution of many marketing initiatives. These responsibilities include but are not limited to:

? Must have video capture and editing experience

? Manage all online social media campaigns and efforts including regular Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin and Instagram posts.

? Identify and advise of community collaboration and promotional opportunities.

? Update and maintain online community calendars.

? Write, produce and edit videos for digital and social postings

? Assist in promotional and publicity photo shoots.

? Creating and maintaining a network-based database of archived photos, video and press-clippings.

? Manage opening night photography for social media.

? Schedule departmental meetings.

? Assist with budgeting as directed.

? Some evening and weekend performance duties.

? Other duties as directed.



SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

? More than two years of experience in marketing and managing social media campaigns for a non-profit or entertainment organization is preferred.

? Must have professional-level experience with online social media platforms and outlets.

? Knowledge and experience in photography and video production.

? Excellent written and verbal communications skills.

? Strong relationship building and management skills.

? Strong organizational and project management skills.

? Strong proofreading and editing skills.

? Ability to self-manage multiple projects and meet complex deadlines.



EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Four-year college degree in Journalism, Marketing or related field is preferred.

Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience and excellent benefits package and will be provided.
