AD: 1-Week Summer Theater Camp in August (Ages 12 - 14) -

Sonnet Rep has worked with Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, Golden Globe, and Tony Award-winning actors, and has been featured in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Show Business Weekly, The New York Post, Variety, among others. Artistic Directors, Todd Loyd and Olivia Mora have been teaching acting for 20 + years and head up this weeks intensive.



Week Three: Acting Intensive



For ages 12 - 14

August 10 - 14, 10am - 4pm / Tuition: $625



$125 SCHOLARSHIPS ARE CURRENTLY AVAILABLE.



Participants will focus on movement, voice and acting techniques. They will have an opportunity to rehearse material they have prepared and may be given additional material to explore. Participants will take Master Classes with veteran Broadway actors, casting directors or agents and the intensive will culminate in an audition-style setting where students will present their work. As a part of the program, there will be an individual résumé consultation (headshot session available for a separate fee). While this is an intensive, the atmosphere for students will be supportive, engaging and FUN!



Requirements: Two Contrasting Monologues (one comedic, one dramatic) and 16 bars of a song. We will also help with finding material, if needed.
