The Cincinnati Music Hall is undergoing an unprecedented $135 million renovation, which is on track to open in October 2017.

BroadwayWorld brings you a first look at the project below!

Music Hall has not undergone a major renovation since the visionary philanthropists Patricia and Ralph Corbett led the last effort over 40 years ago. After laboring for almost a decade, countless community leaders and members of the resident organization boards have finally found a viable path to renovate and revitalize Music Hall.

The project aims to:

  • Restore the heritage of this world-class facility for performers and audiences alike
  • Significantly enhance acoustics of auditorium and overall audience experience
  • Improve accessibility & modernize facilities to make them state-of-the-art
  • Economize operational and back of house needs and uses
  • Execute lasting structural improvements required to secure building longevity
