Gustav Mahler: Das Lied von der Erde

Piano Concerto No.9 in E flat major, K.271 reflects the strong personality of Mozart, the unique sense for simplicity and naturalness which you can hear between the fingers of the little pianist Yalun Wang. In Das Lied von der Erde, the Orchestral Suite Mahler composed based on his interpretation of the German translation of the seven Chinese ancient poems, the tenors and alto’s voices accompanied by the orchestra will approximate the most common emotion and images from the Chinese poems, such as the departure, the wine or the beauty, from which the music lovers can get to know how the music that sought to explore fundamental human feelings can transcend the borders of geography and culture.
