Trio Arcadis was established in 2001 by three young artists from the Paris Conservatoire National Supérieur and the Lyon Conservatoire National Supérieur. They have won the third prize of the Chamber Music International Competition in Lyon, and also an award from the Forum Musical de Normandie.
Trio Arcadis has performed in a number of festivals: Les Alpilles en musique, le Festival Européen Jeunes Talents, Les Jeudis Musicaux des Eglises Romanes, Les Musicales du Golf, as well as during the concert seasons in Aix-en-Provence, at the Théâtre Mogador, the Hôtel de Soubise and the Les Invalides in Paris, at the Chateau de Fontainebleau, and also went abroad such as the Palazetto Bru- Zane in Venice.
After each of them got qualification as a violinist, a cellist and a pianist respectively, they had studied chamber music at the Paris Conservatoire, reaping the benefits from Alain Meunier's rich tuition, and then going on under the Ysaÿe Quartet, Eric Lesage and Paul Meyer; thanks to the support of Proquartet, they were able to play with such prestigious artists as Walter Levin (from the Lasalle Quartet), Valentin Erben and Günter Pichler (from the Alban Berg Quartet) and Paul Katz (from the Cleveland Quartet) among many others.
