Chicago Human Rhythm Project (CHRP) closes its 2026 Stomping Grounds series on National Tap Dance Day with an evening of American percussive dance at the DuSable Black History Museum and Education Center. The program pays tribute to jazz icons Miles Davis and John Coltrane, while honoring the 148th birthday of Bill "Bojangles" Robinson, featuring performances by Jessica Chapuis Bronson, Jeremy Arnold, and Anthony Morigerato, alongside CHRP Founding Director Lane Alexander and youth and adult participants from CHRP's We ALL Got Rhythm arts education program. The concert culminates with Supreme Love, a work choreographed by Artistic Director Jumaane Taylor, performed by CHRP's resident company Stone Soup Rhythms with ensemble members Keyana Latimer, Hannah Geiser, Donyella Jackson, and guest artists Megan Davis and Andrew Carr. They will be accompanied by musicians Amr Marcin Fahmy, Dakarai Barclay, Brent Griffin Jr., Marlene Rosenberg, and Isaiah Spencer.
