November 6 @ 7p FREE ADMISSION | Donations accepted! Got a story to tell? A song to sing? A joke to crack? Here’s your chance to step up and share it with the community at Open Mic Night at Raue Center! Whether it’s music, comedy, spoken word, poetry, or something in between, we want to hear it! Here’s what you need to know: Not ready to take the mic just yet? Come enjoy the show anyway—cheer on your fellow performers and get inspired for next time! TO SIGN UP: Fill out the form HERE. A finalized performer lineup will be emailed the day before the event. Questions? Please email openmic@rauecenter.org Please Note: To keep things fresh and inclusive: We may prioritize performers who haven’t yet taken the stage this season. If you’ve already performed at two or more Open Mic Nights, we may give others a chance first. We work to balance each lineup with a variety of voices, styles, and acts to create the best experience for both our audience and performers. If you don’t make the lineup for a particular date, please continue to sign up as your schedule allows—we rotate performers monthly to keep the spotlight open, diverse, and welcoming for all. Thank you for being part of what makes Open Mic Night @ Raue Center such a fun and inspiring community event! Event Logistics All Artistic Forms Welcome: Music, poetry, comedy, storytelling, dance, and more! Time Limit: Performances are capped at 5 minutes to ensure everyone has a chance to shine. Self-Contained Acts: Keep setups simple and quick (under 2 minutes). Bring only what you can manage independently—no complex tech or stage changes. Content Boundaries To uphold a respectful and supportive environment, performers must refrain from: Hate speech, discriminatory language, or harmful stereotypes targeting individuals/groups based on identity. Deliberately divisive rhetoric (e.g., calls to violence, targeted attacks on communities). Promotional or partisan content unrelated to artistic expression. Community Spirit Stay & Connect: We encourage everyone to stay for the entire event. Celebrate the diversity of voices and strengthen our creative community. What We Encourage Bold, personal storytelling and art that sparks dialogue through empathy. Experimentation with form, style, and perspective. A culture of mutual respect and encouragement.
Due to overwhelming interest and limited performance slots, not everyone who signs up will be selected to perform at each Open Mic Night.
