Crème de la Femme is an all-femme improv festival produced by local improvisers Janelle Soulliere and Grace Goze in partnership with iO Theater. The festival highlights women and non-binary improvisers in Chicago, featuring over 20 different improv troupes performing across two nights. It runs from 6 PM to 11 PM on Friday, May 29, and Saturday, May 30, 2026. Founded in 1981, iO Theater is a historic comedy institution and the birthplace of longform improv.
