Wayward's World Premiere BURN THE BLACK DOG Seeks Adventurers Only, 6/13-7/5

By: Jun. 12, 2014

St. Cyprian's School for Girls is an upscale private high school with a lot of secrets. Audiences will choose to experience intertwining storylines as either a student or a faculty member. This immersive reinterpretation of the Salem Witch Trials also incorporates inspirations from the '90s cult classic The Craft and Punchdrunk's Sleep No More. Journey alongside the actors as they navigate the halls searching for answers in the case of missing teen Beth Parris.

Test audience members were brought in for special preview performances earlier this week.

Chicago Resident and Senior Executive Sales Manager Gina Trombetti braved her way through an early run through of the show on Tuesday night. When asked what she wished she had known in advance, she stated: "Knowing how many stairs we would be going up and down. I'm happy I wore flats (heels are not recommended) and make sure the audience knows they can continue to grab water from the front foyer area.

And in case you weren't already terrified, Burn the Black Dog opens on a full moon Friday the 13th.
