Nine-time Tony Award-winner and National Medal of the Arts recipient Tommy Tune directs the world premiere of this glorious musical from the writers of the Tony Award-winning Jersey Boys.

"Dixie Wilson is a singer who can't catch a break—with a gig or a guy. Billy Clark is a piano player who knows all the songs and loves all the ladies. At the stroke of midnight on New Year's Eve 1999, Billy and Dixie receive a fantastical power and set out together to "discover" America's most popular songs," describe press notes.

Turn of the Century is a recipient of an Edgerton Foundation New American Plays Award. Tickets go on sale August 15th 2008.

On November 12, 2003, The President of The United States presented Tommy Tune with the nations' highest honor for Artistic Achievement, The National Medal of Arts. In a private ceremony in the oval office of the White House, Mr. Tune received this honor to add to his already unprecedented nine Tony Awards in four different categories plus, among other accolades, eight Drama Desk Awards, two Obie Awards, two Astaire Awards, the American Dance Award, the Drama League Award, and the George Abbott Award for Lifetime Achievement.
