Chicago's first and only professional academy for physical theatre hosts an open house on May 18, 2014 from 6-8pm. The school was founded in 2013 by Paola Coletto, one of only 40 graduates certified as pedagogical specialist under Jaques Lecoq, and is currently nearing the completion of first year of study.

The School for Theatre Creators currently offers professional courses in Devised Theatre and Performance at a post-graduate level. The aim is to provoke students to develop into independent artists and theater creators, enabling them to invent and affirm their own unique artistic journey. The School does not profess a method or system; instead, it provides students with a sold artistic platform of tools that can at any moment be an inspiring source for all other artistic forms.

The School for Theatre Creators draws students and instructors from around the world, providing a meting point and destination for local, national, and intentional theatre artists.

This free event includes samples of work by current students of The School, and a Q&A session with Paola Coletto, The School's faculty, and the Class of 2014.
