SANDY HACKETT'S RAT PACK SHOW Heads to the Paramount Theatre, 12/31

While continuing a long run in its home base at the Las Vegas Hilton, SANDY HACKETT'S RAT PACK SHOW celebrates New Year's Eve in grand style with two shows (6 p.m. and 10 p.m.) at The Paramount Theatre in Aurora, IL.

Named "One of Chicago's Top 10 Attended Theatres” by the League of Chicago Theatres, the venue is about 40 miles from the city (23 E. Galena Blvd.), where legendary Motown songwriter Ron Miller—father of "Rat Pack” star and producer, Lisa Dawn Miller, was born and raised. Ironically, Lisa's mother is also named Aurora. "My father loved Chicago and his beloved Cubs. I am so proud to bring our show to one of the greatest cities in the world,” says Miller.

The show includes several special numbers penned by the elder Miller, including "For Once In My Life,” and "Wasn't I A Good Time?” —the title track from Lisa's upcoming new vocal album of the same title, due in early 2012. The Chicago-born Miller also wrote hits like "Touch Me in The Morning,” "Heaven Help Us All,” "Yester-me, Yester-you, Yesterday,” "I've Never Been To Me,” "A Place in the Sun,” "Someday at Christmas,” and "If I Could.”

Producer, Sandy Hackett, also has strong ties to Chicago. He and his father, legendary comedian, Buddy Hackett, helped raise hundreds of thousands of dollars for inner city Chicago schools and performed several times at the annual NFL Players Association events in Chicago. "Chicago is one of my favorite cities in the world because of all the fond memories I shared there with my father and Chicago always has the most wonderful audiences,” says Hackett.

David DeCosta, who stars as Frank Sinatra, also hails from The Windy City. DeCosta, the only actor to ever receive a nominee for an Oscar Wilde Award for portraying Frank Sinatra, started his career in Chicago at Sinatra hangout, Jilly's. DeCosta, who lived in Chicago for years after moving there when he was 16, says "Chicago is my kind of town! It will feel great to be back and more swingin' than ever!”

Celebrating more than 50 years of the Rat Pack, "Sandy Hackett's Rat Pack Show” has been hailed as the next best thing to seeing the Rat Pack themselves. With highballs, hi-jinks and happy hours to spare, Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis, Jr., Joey Bishop and Dean Martin are the enduring Kings of Cool. They were substance with style, swing with swagger and a non-stop party that everyone wanted access to.

Currently on its 2011-2012 Broadway season tour, "Sandy Hackett's Rat Pack Show” has over 70 performance dates throughout the U.S. in over 45 cities.

The multi-faceted one man show is currently booking dates for the 2012-2013 Broadway season. It's a story that has never been told until now: the life and times, the joy and pain of one of Hollywood and Las Vegas' greatest comic geniuses of all time.

Buddy Hackett's voice is heard at the beginning of the "Rat Pack” show, prerecorded before his death in 2003, as the "Voice of God,” sending the boys back to do one last show.
