For three quarters of a century, the Radio City Christmas Spectacular has dazzled audiences, becoming one of America's best-loved holiday traditions.  The treasured holiday show will play 39 spectacular performances at the Rosemont Theatre, (5400 N. River Road, in Rosemont, IL.)  For the first time, kids 12 and under will receive discounts of 30 to 50 percent on all performances.  Tickets are now on sale.

The Radio City Christmas Spectacular features a cast and crew of nearly 100 people who work together to create a magical holiday experience unlike any other.  Audiences of all ages will be enchanted by live holiday entertainment as teddy bears dance, wooden soldiers come to life, reindeer fly and the Radio City Rockettes perform their fancy footwork and signature eye-high kicks.  Last year, a new production of the Radio City Christmas Spectacular debuted in Chicago and garnered rave reviews. This year, audiences will be treated to classic numbers such as "The Parade of Wooden Soldiers," which has been a Radio City Christmas Spectacular tradition since 1933. Audiences will also enjoy several numbers which were first seen in Chicago last year, "The Twelve Days of Christmas," the thrilling tap dancing extravaganza; "Sleighride," during which the Radio City Rockettes join Santa Claus for a brisk journey from the North Pole to Chicago; and "Christmas Dreams," which brings the hopes, dreams and wishes of the holiday season to life.

The Rockettes have been a legendary force in entertainment and bring a rich history of skill and dedication to their craft.  From their memorable USO Tours during WWII, to show-stopping Super Bowl halftime appearances, to the annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade performances, the Rockettes are regarded as a national treasure. The Radio City Christmas Spectacular is now seen by more people in one year than almost any other live show in North America, bringing in more than 2.1 million audience members annually.

The Radio City Christmas Spectacular will be performed Nov. 9 – Dec. 2 at the Rosemont Theatre, 5400 N. River Road, in Rosemont, Ill.  Tickets are now on sale and range in price from $25 to $65.  Tickets may be purchased online at www.ticketmaster.com or by calling Ticketmaster at (312) 559-1212.  Tickets are also available for purchase at the Rosemont Theatre box office and at all Ticketmaster outlets.  Groups of 15 or more may call (847) 891-8916. Special 30 to 50 percent discounts offered for kids ages 12 and under for every performance; "Kid Discount" must be mentioned when ordering.  For more information, please visit www.rosemont.com.
