Raue Center Welcomes Singer-Songwriter Megon McDonough ImageRaue Center For The Arts is excited to welcome nationally known singer-songwriter and Crystal Lake native Megon McDonough to the stage with "Dedicated to the Ones I Love: Great Women Singers of the '50s, '60s and '70s." This show will honor the greatest women singers of a generation at 8 p.m. on August 24, 2018.

"Nothing pleases us more than welcoming Megon back home to Crystal Lake," says Raue Center Executive Director Richard Kuranda. "Her show has been getting rave reviews and we are excited to share it with our community!"

Return to time of bobby socks, beehives and bell-bottoms with this show honoring iconic singers that shaped a generation. In this amusing and entertaining evening, McDonough performs hits from singers including Doris Day, Brenda Lee, Connie Francis, Debbie Reynolds, Lulu, Petula Clark, Leslie Gore, Dusty Springfield, The Shirelles, Joni Mitchell, Judy Collins, Janis Joplin and more!

McDonough doesn't just sing their hit songs - she becomes these artists, connecting audiences with the soundtrack of their lives and making them feel as if they are seeing each hit artist perform live. Whether McDonough is delighting audiences in a concert or a corporate setting, this show is a stand out!

McDonough has been performing around the country for more than four decades and has performed on stages as varied as Carnegie Hall, The Birchmere, The Wolf Trap and more. Best known as an inaugural

member of the group The Four Bitchin' Babes, McDonough has 15 solo albums to her credit and delights audiences with her mixture of heartfelt and humorous songs. She currently tours with "Dedicated to the Ones I Love" and performs entertainment for corporate workshops and events.
