Photo Flash: First Look at The New Colony's STANLEY IN THE NAME OF LOVE

The New Colony is pleased to continue its 2015 season with the pop-infused world premiere musical comedy STANLEY IN THE NAME OF LOVE by Mr. Margaret Svetlove, directed by Sean Kelly, with music by The Delicious Moons (Nickolas Blazina, Henry Riggs, Alex Kliner and Sean Kelly). STANLEY IN THE NAME OF LOVE will play July 30 - August 29, 2015 at The New Colony's resident home, The Den Theatre (Upstairs Mainstage), 1333 N. Milwaukee Ave. in Chicago's Wicker Park neighborhood. A trailer park fairy decides to become a porn star because he wants to fall in love. Stanley, his hag, and a chorus of gay angels take off on the Road to Love. Along the way, they find Rod Fullalove, a beguiling porn star, a man with a deep hole to fill. The powers of love and meaninglessness collide in this absurdist gay porn dance pop musical.

STANLEY IN THE NAME OF LOVE will feature Christina Boucher, David Cerda, Luke Michael Grimes, Steve Love, Jeff Meyer, Michael Peters and Christopher Tuttle.

The production team for STANLEY IN THE NAME OF LOVE includes: Zachary Gipson (scenic design), Curtis Cassell (costume design), John Kelly and Cody Ryan (lighting design), Jeannine Stupka (associate choreographer), JD Caudill (assistant director) and Garth Moritz (production stage manager).
