The Off-Broadway cult-classic musical, Triassic Parq, has it's Chicago Premiere with CIRCLE THEATRE, co-directed by Tommy Bullington and Nicholas Reinhart, and music directed by Justin Harner. The production opens Friday, September 18 at 8:00pm at Heartland Studio in Rogers Park. Check out a first look below!

Triassic Parq by Marshall Pailet, Bryce Norbitz and Steve Wargo vividly brings together music, sex and singing dinosaurs in ways hitherto unimagined. Chaos is unleashed upon the not-so-prehistoric world when one dinosaur in a clan of females spontaneously turns male. The mutation spawns a chain reaction of identity crises, forcing the dinosaurs to question the very facts of life they've held as truth. Triassic Parq is an unflinching musical meditation on faith, science and love. Also, you know...DINOSAURS.

The cast includes Parker Guidry (Book of Merman, Pride Films and Plays) as the Velociraptor of Innocence, Erin Daly* (Sondheim on Sondheim, Porchlight Music Theatre; The Bitchfest Club,MidTangent Productions) as T-Rex 1, Neala Barron ([title of show], Brown Paper Box Company; A Funny Thing Happened..., Porchlight Music Theatre; Titanic, Griffin Theatre Company) as T-Rex 2, Jacob Richard Axelson (Ripper, Roosevelt University) as Velociraptor of Faith, Marissa Druzbanski (The Bitchfest Club, MidTangent Productions) as Velociraptor of Science, Patrick Stengle(HAIR and Ragtime, Big Noise Theatre) as Mime-a-saurus and Caitlin Boho (HAIR, Big Noise Theatre) as Morgan Freeman.

The production team includes Nicholas Reinhart* (co-director/choreographer), Tommy Bullington (co-director), Justin Harner (music director), Adele Powers (stage manager), Jimmy Jagos(set designer), Katerina (costume designer), Kenny Long (sound designer), Chazz Malott (lighting designer), Greg Pinsoneault (props designer) and Bobby Arnold* (producing director).

Regular performances run Wednesdays through Sundays at 8:00pm (no show September 27) through Sunday, October 4 (closing performance at 2:30pm) plus two performances Monday, September 21 and 28. Tickets are $20 Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays and $23 Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. More information can be found at http://www.circletheatrechicago.org/.
