Black Ensemble presents BLACK WHITE LOVE PLAY (THE STORY OF CHAZ AND ROGER EBERT) at the Black Ensemble Theater Cultural Center (4450 N. Clark Street), September 26 - November 15, 2015. Check out photos from the show below!
The cast includes Rashada Dawan as Chaz Ebert and Kevin Pollack as Roger Ebert.
The Chorus is Evelyn Danner, Rueben Echoles, Porsche King, Robbin Major, Jhardon Dishon Milton, Matthew T. Payne, Jessica Seals, Kyle Smith, Sally Staats and Qween Wicks.
The 6-piece acoustic orchestra includes Robert Reddrick (Musical Director/drums), Herb Walker (guitar), Justin Dillard (piano), Danny O'Connor (bass), Dudley Owens (woodwinds) and Samuel Williams (violin).
The designers are RuthAnn Swanson (costumes), Caswell James (set and Technical Director), Denise Karczewski (lighting), Aaron Quick(sound), CoCo Ree Lemery (scenic artist) and Rueben Echoles (wigs and choreography). The stage managers are Daryl Brooks and Bekki Lambrecht and the assistant stage manager is Hannah Higgins.
Ticket prices: $55 on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturday matinees; and $65 on Fridays,Saturday evenings, and Sunday matinees. A 10% discount is available for students, seniors, and groups.
