Lifeline Theatre to Present CLICK, CLACK BOO! A TRICKY TREAT, 10/19-11/24

By:

Lifeline Theatre presents the world premiere of Click, Clack Boo! A Tricky Treat, a family musical based on the brand new book by Doreen Cronin and illustrated by Betsy Lewin. This production marks the first time in Lifeline's 30-year history that it has premiered a stage adaptation in conjunction with the national publication of its source book. Click, Clack Boo! A Tricky Treat is adapted by Lifeline ensemble member James E. Grote, with music and lyrics by Non-Equity Jeff Award and After Dark Award-winning composer George Howe, and directed by Lifeline ensemble member Shole Milos; the same team that created Lifeline's popular adaptations of the beloved Cronin/Lewin books, Click, Clack, Moo: Cows That Type (2003); Duck for President (2004); Giggle, Giggle, Quack (2005); and Dooby Dooby Moo (2009). (Cronin/Lewin'sClick, Clack Boo! A Tricky Treat was published August 13, 2013 by Atheneum Books for Young Readers/Simon & Schuster. Used with permission of Pippin Properties, Inc.).

It's Halloween! Duck, Pig, Cow, and Hen can't wait to throw a party, complete with apple-bobbing, bottomless candy bowls, and a spook-tacular costume contest. But when mean ol' Farmer Brown refuses to allow the festivities, it's going to take some clever trickery to enjoy the tasty treats. Join the beloved barnyard crew as they teach Farmer Brown that sometimes a little scare can be big fun. This production is appropriate for children ages five and up, and runs one hour with no intermission. The book will be on sale in the lobby.
