House Theatre of Chicago Announces Holiday Performances of THE MAGIC PARLOUR

The House Theatre of Chicago announces a full offering of holiday season performances of the long-running hit show, The Magic Parlour, presented at The Palmer House Hilton Hotel in downtown Chicago.

Chicago residents can host holiday guests for an unforgettable night, and visitors to the city can experience the Chicago of yesteryear at this intimate, up-close performance in one of the city's most opulent and remarkable landmark hotels.

Only 32 seats are available for each performance of this intimate, sophisticated, close-up magic show in one of the hotel's historic private event rooms. Guests gather at Potter's Lounge in the hotel's lower level and are escorted to the performance space, where they will enjoy an evening of mind-blowing magic and mind reading with Chicago's own Dennis Watkins. The audience participates in much of the performance as Dennis wows the room with disappearing decks, hidden spikes, unbelievable mentalism, and age-old stories passed down from his grandfather.

The Magic Parlour ticket always includes wine and beer selections. The New Year's Eve performance will culminate in a special champagne toast at midnight.
