Fox Valley Rep Closes

By:

Regrettably, Fox Valley Repertory (FVR) is being forced to close effective October 1, 2015, due to unexpected circumstances. We are very sorry that the curtain is closing. Due to this untimely situation, ticket sales have been discontinued. As a result, the theater will be unable to produce performances for the remainder of the 2015 and 2016 seasons. Unfortunately, this includes the remaining performances for the current production.

We deeply regret this inconvenience to our ticketholders. However, The Paramount Theatre in Aurora has generously offered a $20 credit to each Fox Valley Rep patron who purchased tickets to A Christmas Survival Guide, ABBA Salute, The Legacy Girls and A Carpenters' Christmas. The $20 Paramount Theatre credit is good towards one of the following: single tickets to A Christmas Story, or towards a 3-Show Broadway Subscription including A Christmas Story: The Musical, Hairsprayand West Side Story. To redeem, please call the Paramount Theatre box office at 630.896.6666starting Monday, October 5 at 10 a.m.

As a non-profit theater company in residence at Pheasant Run Resort for the past 11 years, FVR has been focused on creating an engaging theater experience by producing shows that inspire community members to laugh, reflect, and reconnect to moments in their lives.

An important aspect of that commitment to the community was through arts education. FVR had the most extensive arts education offering in the Fox Valley area for youth theater educational programing through the award winning FVR Performing Arts Academy.

Statement from the Board of Directors and Staff of FVR:

Thank you to everyone at the city of St. Charles, and to all the Fox Valley Rep sponsors, donors, staff, artists, Pheasant Run and a special thanks to the thousands of patrons who have enjoyed our performances for over a decade, and to our hundreds of Performing Arts Academy students and their families. We could not have made our amazing performances without you. Thank you for sharing this journey with us.
