ENTOURAGE's Kevin Dillon to Host New Year's Eve at Palmer House

The Palmer House Hilton is proud to announce that it will once again host one of Chicago's premier New Year's Eve events Big Night America's Chicago New Year's Eve Party: Big Night Chicago, Thursday, Dec. 31, from 9 p.m. - 2 a.m. with host, from HBO's Entourage, Kevin Dillon, at the Palmer House Hilton, 17 E. Monroe Street.

Events take place throughout the hip and historic Palmer House with four different packages available: General Admission, VIP and Velvet Rope VIP:

· General Admission tickets, are currently $109.99 and will rise to more than $150 as the night approaches, consisting of all-inclusive bars, food, party hats and tiaras and access to five party areas and ballrooms (including four dance floors)

· VIP tickets, includes general admission plus upgraded top shelf drinks, heavy hors d'oeuvres buffets and special seating areas. VIP tickets are currently $169.99 and will rise to $199.99 as the night approaches

· Velvet Rope VIP tickets and tables, includes excellent table service, access to all party areas and exclusive access to special entertainments in the storied Empire Ballroom. Velvet Rope VIP tickets are currently $220 per person for a reserved private table for two and $200 per person for tables of four o ten people

· A private hospitality room, includes private bartender, security guard, and 12 VIP Tickets (additional tickets can be purchased at regular ticket prices). Private room VIP tickets are currently $5,000.

This year's Velvet Rope VIP ticket holders experience an event held in one of Chicago's most legendary spaces, the Palmer House's Empire Room. The Empire Room was first opened in 1925 as an elegant dining room and immediately brought in large crowds wanting to experience an unforgettable evening. The Empire Room continues to maintain the elegance that identified it as a premiere café society nightclub of days gone by. The room's glamorous design can immediately be seen as a staircase inspired by the Paris Opera leads directly from the lobby of the Palmer House to the Empire Room. It has been said by many that walking in to the Empire Room is like taking a step back in time. The 20th century's great entertainment luminaries from Tony Bennett to Carol Channing have all performed there. Besides the long list of renowned performers the audience that was in attendance in the past is just as legendary as the performers The Empire Room saw. Its rich history is what makes the room sparkle today. This year at Big Night Chicago the Empire Room will be open for our Velvet Rope ticket holders exclusively.

Kevin Dillon, born in Mamaroneck, New York was known for playing tough guys and bad boys during his early career. His first major role was Rooney, the bully in the film Heaven Help Us, directed by Michael Dinner.

Dillon has since made many memorable film and television appearances, most notably in Oliver Stone's Platoon and The Doors, in the World War II film A Midnight Clear and in the cult classic The Blob. He was nominated for a Young Artist Award for his poignant performance opposite James Woods, Glenn Close and Mary Stuart Masterson in Immediate Family. Dillon starred opposite Kurt Russell and Richard Dreyfuss in Wolfgang Petersen's Poseidon for Warner Brothers and opposite Lisa Kudrow, Emma Roberts and Don Cheadle in Hotel for Dogs for Dreamworks.

Dillon is probably best known for his hilarious, yet heartfelt portrayal of the beloved character 'Johnny Drama' on the hit HBO series and this summer's Warner Brothers' film, directed by Doug Ellin, Entourage. His performance garnered him nominations for three Emmy Awards, a Golden Globe Award and three SAG Awards. He also recurred on both the critically acclaimed series NYPD Blue and 24.
