The Chicago Violin Competition (CVC), a premier "Grand Prix" level event, has officially opened its 2026 registration, offering young local violinists, ages 7-28, a digital stage to compete against the best in the world.

In the classical music world, a "Grand Prix" represents the pinnacle of artistic achievement. Traditionally, these events were limited to those who could afford the high costs of international travel. Opportunities for Ages 7 to 28

The competition is divided into two main categories to support musicians at different stages of their journey:
