The year is 1934, and Oberon and Puck, two mischievous imps from Shakespeare's play "A Midsummer Night's Dream" have magically materialized on a Warner Brothers' film set just as director Max Beinhardt is set to shoot his version of the Bard's famous comedy. Instantly mesmerized by the strange glitz and glamour of Hollywood, the two score film roles playing (who else?) themselves! The two wrestle with blonde bombshells, movie moguls, hammy actors, and tabloid journalists in this hilarious comedy romp by Ken Ludwig. Winner of the Helen Hayes Award for Best New Play in 2004.
