Post Mortem Players, the Charlotte area’s only horror theatre company, in partnership with Comedy Arts Theatre of Charlotte will present Adam Seidel’s dark comedy Catch the Butcher. Originally presented Off-Broadway in 2015, the show is a witty mash-up of The Silence of the Lambs and modern suburbia. Fascinated by a serial killer’s poems to his victims, Nancy sets out to find him. When she discovers herself in his basement …she likes it. The show has been described as “[an] effective blend of romance, absurdism, satire, and dread.” Catch the Butcher is directed by Heather Wilson-Bowlby. The cast includes Jackie Obando Carter (Nancy), Chuck Riordan (Bill), and Jennifer Briere (Joanne).
Comedy Arts Theater of Charlotte is at 4128 South Blvd, Suite A3, Charlotte, NC 28209, Charlotte, NC.
